Why Give to Wellesley?

Whenever we hear about the impact that a Wellesley woman makes on the world around her, we’re proud to be members of the Wellesley community. We are sure that you, too, are proud of what Wellesley – through her students and alumnae – offers the world.

Our fellow alumnae span the globe, making important contributions in areas as diverse as: education, politics, law, medicine, community development, art, entertainment, science, business, technology, and journalism. Today’s students, also, are preparing to make their own marks in their chosen fields and communities. Lisa Le ’04 wants to pursue degrees in medicine and public policy after working for an international health advocacy group. She is out to change the world!

Because Annual Giving supports all Wellesley students, your gift can help change the world, too. Annual Giving directly supports financial aid, as well as library acquisitions, technological teaching resources and curriculum development. Every year, those funds are provided by thousands of alumnae who honor and support the College in a tradition integral to being a Wellesley woman: each generation supporting those who follow. Our own experiences as Wellesley students were supported by alumnae gifts to Annual Giving.

Annual Giving is the key to Wellesley’s ability to continue providing the support that all students need. Please consider joining us in giving to support current students again this year, as you have in the past. When we help to ensure that Wellesley women in every generation receive the finest education possible, we are among the Wellesley women who are changing the world.
